1. Can you give us a brief history of the band, and the current line up?
Brigade M started as a project to record the first Dutch speaking RAC-songs in '95. IN '97 two tracks were recorded for the Welkom in Sassem sampler, in '98 two more for the follow up. We recorded a full album early this year that hopefully will be out shortly on Wikinger Versand from Germany. We have only played as a live band since 2001 and since March this year have the following line-up: Dave - Singer. Wickie - Guitar. Stefan - Guitar. Tim - Bass. Jasper - Drums

2. How would you describe your genre of music?
You can describe the music something like RAC/Oi with Metal influences. We all have a different background in music and if you put that together you'll create your own style of music

3. What gigs have you played so far, and where?
We have played several gigs in Holland, Germany and "Belgium". We have played for several organisations like B&H Midgard and the NPD.

4. Which would you consider to be the most memorable?
For me it was the concert organised by B&H Midgard in Diksmuide. We played with Legion of St George and there were a lot of people who I know. The sound was great and there were no problems and fights. At the end of our concert my girlfriend came on stage and asked me to marry her. So it was a night to remember.

5. Which bands have influenced you the most?
Well each member has his own background so there are all kinds of bands and styles that have influenced us. We listen for example to Black Metal, Oi, RAC, Hate Core and classical music. Bands like (early) Metallica, Bound for Glory, Skrewdriver, Landser and composers like Vivaldi, Beethoven and Wagner.

6. What plans do you have for the band and the future?
First of all we hope that our album is coming out very soon and that we can start recording our second album. We have recorded the album but it is still not available. We hope that we will reach as many people as possible and that they will listen to our music and open up their eyes.

7. What CD's and other merchandise do you have available, and where can people buy it?
We've got a Mini-CD with 5 songs and a video clip of one song recorded early last year, 3 different T-shirts, 1 polo shirt and soon our first CD titled: 'Trouw aan Rood, Wit, Blauw' (True to Red, White and Blue). There's also the Welkom in Sassem 2 sampler with 9 bands from Holland, the styles go from RAC to Hard-Core to fun-Oi. So check our website (see question 13).

8. How do you rate the British bands?
We like the English bands very much because we grew up with bands like Skrewdriver, No Remorse, and Brutal Attack etc. They were and still are very important in the Dutch scene. England will always be the birthplace of the skinhead movement and RAC.

9. What is the N.S scene like in your area and in your country as a whole?
There are a lot of youngsters in Holland who are supporting the white movement and are fed up with the system and we hope that our music will open up more eyes. But unfortunately the N.S. scene in Holland is divided in several groups and there are lots of problems between them. Instead of fighting ZOG they are fighting each other. But there is still hope because many of them know that we have to work together.

10. What will be the first thing you would like to change?
I would like to change the problems that people have with each other in our movement. I wish that they will understand that our race will not survive unless we work TOGETHER! United we stand, divided we fall.

11. Do you as a band; encounter problems or resistance from the police?
At the moment we are a hot item for the leftwing and they are trying to get us out of business (Antifa Ha Ha Ha). Last week we played in Belgium and the organisation B&H Midgard had problems with the police because we were coming over. They didn't care about the other bands. They have shown pictures of us on the Dutch TV and wrote about us in the newspapers. Probably we will have more problems in the near future

12. How do you feel the B&H scene has evolved in the last few years?
The scene is much bigger now then several years ago. There is also a B&H Midgard Netherlands founded. I think B&H is a very important weapon against ZOG and will attract a lot of youngsters to stand up and fight.

13. How/Where can people contact you?
We have our own internet site at http://members.odinsrage.com/brigadem and people can get in contact with us by our emailadres; sassem@hotmail.com. Snail mail through BM, PO Box 84, 2170 AB Sassenheim, The Netherlands.

14. Any closing comments?
We wish B&H and all their supporters good luck and thank you for your interview
Hail ISD 14 words!
